Harriet Dawn Migliori "Susie", 78, of Tunkhannock passed away surrounded by her family Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Nicholas Migliori.
Born on October 23, 1947, in Scranton, she is the daughter of the late H. Gardner Dewitt and Mary (Gougoulis) Murphy.
She was a 1966 graduate of Abington Heights High School. Susie was a gifted painter, known for her beautiful depictions of architecture and portraits. In addition, she enjoyed the intellectual challenge of playing trivia games.
Her commitment to her faith and community was unwavering. Susie was a dedicated member of St. Mary of the Lake Church and actively participated in the Altar and Rosary Society. Her involvement extended to the Tunkhannock Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, where she worked alongside fellow members to preserve history and foster community ties. Additionally, she was a proud member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 457.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, David Migliori and wife Sandy, Daniel Migliori and wife Jessica; daughters, Tammy Migliori, Nicole Ross and husband Josh; sisters, Marilyn Harvilchuck, Georgianna Quinton; brother, Paul Murphy; 11 grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend Susie's Mass of Christian Burial which will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM from the St. Mary of the Lake Church, 1872 Dalton Rd., Lake Winola, PA 18625 to be celebrated by Rev. Arbogaste Satoun. Interment will follow in Pieta Cemetery, Tunkhannock.
A viewing will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM from the Marcho, Sheldon, and Kukuchka Funeral Home & Cremation Care, 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA 18657.
