Helen Zarychta

Helen L. Zarychta, 92, of Falls passed away on Sunday October 30, 2022, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Zarychta in 2008.

Born in Pittston, on June 21, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Stella Azarawicz Golenski.

Helen attended Falls-Overfield School. Helen retired as a forelady from the Falls Dress Company. She has many passions including sewing, cooking, gardening, the outdoors, spending time with her family and picking berries and mushrooms.

Helen is survived by her sisters; Connie Wilbur and Joan Cease; and many nieces and nephews who she treated as her own children.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Cecelia Skislak, Irene Macijowksky, and Mary Panuski; brother, Stephen Golenski.

Family and friends are invited to attend Helen's Mass of Christian Burial which will be held on Friday November 4, 2022 at 11:00 AM from the Church of the Holy Redeemer, 2435 State Route 92 Falls, PA 18615 to be celebrated by Msgr. John Sempa.

Interment will follow in Mountain View Burial Park, Harding. A viewing will be held on Friday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of mass.
