Jacalin J. Nichols

Jacalin J. Nichols, Scott Twp., died Monday morning at Allied Hospice.  She was the widower of Rufus S. Nichols who died in 2014.

Born in New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Jean Hannah Sutton.  Prior to retirement she was a homemaker. For over 20 years, she was a Den Mother for Boy Scout Troop, Pack 265. Jackie was a member of the Justus Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary in the past and was involved in the Scott Township Veterans Memorial.

Also surviving are three sons Rusty J. and wife Gianine, Lenoxville, Eric S. and wife Janette, Norman, OK and Rufus B. and wife Joyce, Scott Twp.; Several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson Lance Nichols.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday January 3, 2023 at 10 a.m. at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit with services by Karen Rickaby. Interment will follow at Miller Cemetery in Scott Township. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, January 2, 2023 from 5 to 7 p.m.
