James Nelson Clark, 82, of Factoryville, died on Sunday at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton. He was the widower of the late Barbara Lewis Clark, who died in 2020.
Born in Cortland, New York, he was the son of the late Glen and Nancy Baker Clark. He was a United States Air Force veteran and, prior to retirement, was employed by Keystone College. James was a member of Servant Church and American Legion Post 0953, Nicholson.
Surviving are sons David of Clarks Summit, and Daniel of Baltimore, MD; daughters Rebecca Clark of Starrucca, PA, Melissa Rising of Murfreesboro, TN; and Kristen McCarty of Bellefonte, PA; grandchildren Elizabeth, Miranda, Haven, Miriam, Symeon, Xenia, Connor, and Owen; brother Robert Clark and his wife Fran of Nicholson; nephews Rob and Tim Clark; and one niece Robyn Gearhart.
A funeral will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Servant Church, 204 South Abington Road, Clarks Green, with services by Pastor Dan Miller. Friends may pay their respects at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment with military honors will be held afterwards at Clarks Green Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit.
