James F. Ferrario, Jr.

James F. Ferrario Jr., 97, Clarks Summit, died Tuesday afternoon at Clarks Summit Senior Living surrounded by his family.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years Shirley Jean Carson.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late James, Sr. and Sarah McDonough Ferrario. He founded Northeastern Envelope Company in 1955. He was a member of Our Lady of the Snows, Clarks Summit. He loved country line dancing and playing cards with his friends.

He is remembered by his loving family: daughters Laurie (Jacque) Fletcher of Clarks Summit and Eileen (Terrence) Burke of Clarks Summit; his grandchildren Amanda (the late Jamie Ryan) White of Hilton Head Island, SC, Erin (James) Tallarico of Rockville Centre, NY, Terrence (Ashley) Burke of Clarks Summit, Carson (Sean) Judge of Hingham, MA, Kaitlin Fletcher (Kaitlyn Michalek) of West Chester, PA; sixteen great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at a later date.
