James Rosengrant

Life Legacy James Rosengrant of Mehoopany died Friday in the Hospice Unit at CMC Hospital in Scranton. He was born in Hatfield, Pa. on April 9, 1943 son of the late Lloyd and Jackie Gable Rosengrant. Jim worked all his life as a carpenter and became well known for his bird carvings and Flintlock Rifles. He also enjoyed carving walking sticks and painting. Surviving is his wife of 41 years Karen Krul Rosengrant, sons, Bob, John, Kevin and Tyrone Morgan, Jim and Joe Rosengrant, daughter Karin Ayers, sister Joan Cote and 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A memorial service conducted by family and friends will be held on Saturday, November 28th at 1 pm at the Meshoppen Rod and Gun Club.
