James Douglas Taugher

James Douglas Taugher passed away unexpectedly in his home on Tuesday.

Born in Scranton on June 27, 1958, he was the son of the late James P. Taugher and Mildred Taugher of Clarks Summit. He was a 1976 graduate of Tunkhannock Area High School and spent many years in the restaurant/bar business in Philadelphia before returning to Clarks Summit where he most recently worked for Aramark.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Wendy Antosh (Harry) of Glendale; and his partner Chris Gilboy of Clarks Summit; nephew Dustin Robinson (Heather) of Falls, PA and niece Tanya Robinson (Brian) of Falls, PA.

There will be no viewing hours and a private service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit.
