Joan Burke

Joan Burke, 82, Scranton, formerly of Newton Township, died unexpectedly on November 14, 2023.

She was predeceased by her parents, Floyd and Agnes Ware; her adopted parents, Theodore and Leta Burke; siblings Leona Woodmansee, Joseph Ware, Mary Zanghi; and her much loved dog, Marley.

She is survived by her sister, Betty Ware; brother James Ware; brother-in-law Michael Zanghi; four nieces; one nephew; and several cousins.

The family would like to thank the staff at Allied Services for the excellent care she received.
