Joan White

Joan E. White, 82, of Tunkhannock passed away Monday, June 19, 2023 at Allied Services, Scranton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy White.

Born on April 3, 1941, she is the daughter of the late Robert and Luella Glover.

Joan graduated from Susquehanna High School. She was an accomplished seamstress and crocheter. Her loving nature was evident in everything she did, from preparing delicious meals for her family to going fishing and hunting with them.

Joan's kind and gentle spirit touched so many during her lifetime. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by son, Roy White and wife Angela; sister, Loraine Foote and husband Donald; grandchildren, Natalie Dodge, Kelsey Dodge, Kaylea Dodge; sister-in-law Hazel Durling; cousin, Florence Durling; nephew, Ricky Durling.

She was also preceded in death by her first husband, William Miggley; brothers, Donald and Bobby Glover.

Joan's memory will forever be cherished by her loved ones for the warmth and positivity she brought into their lives. Her legacy will live on through those who had the privilege of knowing her.

At Joan's request there will be no funeral services.
