JoAnn Knickerbocker Marcinkevich, 66, of Weatherly, formerly of Clarks Summit, died on Saturday at Forest Hills Healthcare Center, Weatherly. She was the widow of Edward Marcinkevich.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Marion Hauser Knickerbocker. Prior to retirement, she was a seamstress for a clothing factory.

Surviving are a stepson, Edward Marcinkevich, Jr. and his wife Angie of Taylor; a sister, Diana McDonald and her husband Roy of Clarks Summit; nine nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and great nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Donna Stout.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, 6/28 at 1 pm at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 South State Street, Clarks Summit, with services by Karen Rickaby.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Griffin Pond Animal Shelter or the donor's favorite charity.
