Joseph J. Yanick Joseph J. Yanick of Tunkhannock died at his home on Friday. He was born in Dickson City on November 28, 1939 son of the late Joseph and Anna Ohall Yanick. He was a graduate of Dickson City High School class of 1957, a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served 2 tours of duty in Vietnam. Prior to his retirement he was employed by the Procter and Gamble plant in Mehoopany for over 25 years. Surviving is his wife of 53 years Shirley Rogalski Yanick. Daughters Donna and Mark Heft and Laura Yanick both of Tunkhannock, Sandra and David Dunbar of Dawson Springs, Kentucky, brothers John Yanick of Moscow, Michael Yanick, of Dickson City, sisters Louise Yanick of Dickson City, Elaine Demianovich of Clifford Twp., grandchildren Matthew Yanick, Maria and Maxine Heft. A memorial services will be held Wednesday May 27, 2015 at 7 pm from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock with Pastor Murray Brindle of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery Tunkhannock. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 pm until the time of service.
