Kathryn E. Chernesky

Kathryn E. Chernesky Scranton passed away Wednesday at CMC Hospital. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Edmund and Elizabeth O' Connor.

Kathryn worked for FW Woolworths,Scranton Dry Goods and J C Penny. She was a fan of music, especially the Crystal Band of Scranton and anything with a clarinet, piano,or accordion. She loved Disney, visiting nineteen times. Also she loved animals and flowers.

She is survived by her husband of sixty four years Robert, sons, Bob of Scranton, Kevin of Archibald; daughters, Carolyn of Florida, Cathy of Mayfield; grandchildren John, Danny, David and Connor.

She was preceded in death by her brother Edward and daughter Beth Ann.

Services will be private and arrangements have been entrusted to Lawrence E Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S State St. Clarks Summit.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter.
