Katrina A. Smith 41, of Tunkhannock died Tuesday October 15th at Tyler Hospital in Tunkhannock. She is survived by her husband Douglas E. Smith of Tunkhannock. She is was born on July 3, 1972 in Binghamton, NY daughter of Thomas W. Docalavich, of Kirkwood, New York and mother Judy A. Stallman, of Tunkhannock. She was a 1990 Graduate of the Tunkhannock High School and received an associate’s degree of Arts from Keystone Jr. College 1996. She was the Owner and administrator of Ann’s Grove personal care home in Tunkhannock. She was a member of the Tunkhannock United Methodist church, loved cats, bingo. She had a great passion for working with the elderly and children and she loved to laugh until she cried. She will be deeply missed by all. She was preceded in death by her father in law Richard A. Smith. In addition to her parents she is survived by her Step-Father, Harry Bebb of Tunkhannock; stepmother Cynthia Docalavich of Kirkwood, NY, mother-in-law Georgia Smith, of Tunkhannock, brothers Thomas, of Tunkhannock, Jesse J., of Tunkhannock, and Scott, of South Carolina; sisters Angie, of Kirkwood, New York, and Tara Bebb, of Clark Summit, and god-daughter Haylee, several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and dear friends Donna Smith and George Patton. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday October 19th at 2:00 PM from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 West Tioga St. With Pastor Peter F. Geschwindner of the Tunkhannock United Methodist Church. Interment will be private. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
