Kay Tunnicliff

Kay Rose Tunnicliff, 61, of Mildred, PA passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Sevelon L. Tunnicliff.

Born on June 18, 1961, she is the daughter of the late Howard and Evelyn Kiesinger Comstock.

Kay graduated from Tunkhannock High School in 1979. She was a mother to many foster children, enjoyed baking, and spending time with her grandchildren. She had a love for animals especially her beloved pets. She would volunteer her time at Happy Tails Rescue and was very involved with the Mehoopany EMS. Kay also enjoyed camping and fishing.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Sevelon J. Tunnicliff; daughter, Amanda L. Tunnicliff; sister, Jane Comstock-Miller; brother, Howard H. Comstock; grandchildren, Kayliese Robinson, Kenzie Tunnicliff, Krya Tunnicliff-Hollister, and Chad Janney, Jr.; dogs, Boss, Gipper, Angel, and Maggie and cats, Rickie and Smudge.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Corey R. Comstock; grandson, Tye Tunnicliff-Hollister; and dogs, Rip and Chikki.

Family and friends are invited to attend Kay's celebration of life service which will be held on Saturday January 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM from Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA 18657 with lay minister, Colleen Taylor presiding.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 Am until time of service on Saturday.
