Kenneth Matteucci

Kenneth Matteucci, 80, of Tunkhannock passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Southern Ocean Center, Manahawkin, NJ. He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Gail (Diamond) Matteucci in 2021.

Born on June 26, 1943 in Jersey City, NJ, he is the son of the late Alfred and Eleanor (Offermann) Matteucci.

Kenneth dedicated 20 years of his life to working at Preferred Meals in Moosic, where he was highly respected by his colleagues and known for his strong work ethic. Prior to his career, Kenneth proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

Growing up in Jersey City shaped his values and character profoundly. He had a fondness for farming and took great delight in raising cows, pigs, and especially chickens.

He is survived by sons, Kenneth Matteucci and wife Kathryn, Harold Phillips and wife Colleen; daughter, Donna Tallia; brother, William Matteucci; sister, Margaret Dasch, Betty McConnon; grandchildren, Joshua and Katelyn Matteucci, Rustin Phillips, John LaScola, Shayla Tallia.

In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by brother, Alfred Matteucci; sister, Carol Matteucci; grandson, Michael Matteucci.
