Lillian P. Barrows

Lillian P. Barrows, South Abington Township, passed away at her home on Friday afternoon. She was preceded in death by Lynn G. Barrows, her husband of 62 years.

Born in South Abington Township, PA, she was the daughter of the late Fred and L. Florence White Peck. She graduated with honors from Abington Heights in 1956 and retired from WEA Manufacturing in June 2001 as a Graphic Artist in the Pre-press Dept, a job she just loved. Upon retirement, she had the Barrows Family cookbook and the Barrows Family History printed. She liked to watch game shows, go to family dinners, and play Aggravation, Dominos, and Rummy with her friends and neighbors. She and her late husband, Lynn, hosted over ten Barrows family reunions.

She is survived by a son, Roger Barrows and wife Marian, a daughter Yvonne Puckett and husband Kenneth; grandson Cody Puckett; sister and brother-in-law Shirley and Tim Lavare, brother and sister-in-law David and Debbie Molyneaux, Brothers-in-law Bob Gregory, James Barrows, Merle Barrows and wife Sherry, and Martin Barrows and wife Diane; sisters-in-law Hazel Howell, Patricia Wyckoff and husband Bill; many nieces, nephews, and cousins, including her favorite cousin, Ron White.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Delbert and H. Romayne Myers Barrows; brother-in-law Thomas Barrows, Sr.; sisters-in-law Berniece Butler, Dotha Sistrunk, Ethel Barrows, Barbara Beyer, and Midge Barrows; a sister, Cindy Gregory; brothers-in-law Tim Shelp, Art Beyer, George Sistrunk, Bob Butler, and Fred Howell Sr.; and seven nephews and four nieces.

There will be no viewing and a cremation has already taken place.
