Lillian M. Kristunas

Lillian M. Kristunas, 84, of Tunkhannock passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the Tunkhannock Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Born on June 18, 1941, in Tunkhannock, she is the daughter of the late Anthony and Antoinette (Jurista) Kristunas.

She was a 1958 graduate of Tunkhannock High School. Lillian devoted many years to her work at Rowker Manufacturing before continuing her career at Weis Market Bakery.

Lillian's life was characterized by its uncomplicated nature and her genuine appreciation for everyday joys. She found great pleasure and companionship in frequent visits to the senior center, where she enjoyed playing pinochle and shuffleboard

Additionally, she was especially proud to be a devoted member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church.

She is survived by her sister, Joan Stephens and husband Gary; brother, Paul Kristunas and wife Janet.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Donald Kristunas.

Family and friends are invited to attend Lillian's Mass of Christian Burial which will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM from Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 99 E. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA 18657 to be celebrated by Rev. Patrick Albert and Deacon Ray Pieretti. Interment will be held in Pieta Cemetery, Tunkhannock.

A visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass on Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Lillian's memory can be made to the Wyoming County Active Adult Center, 101 Dymond Terrace, Tunkhannock, PA 18657, the Seven Loaves Soup Kitchen, 51 Warren St., Tunkhannock, PA 18657 or the donors choice.
