Linda Jean Little, 72, Clarks Green, died on Tuesday morning at her home.

Born on June 15, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Richard Little III and the late Grace Hough Little.

Linda grew up in Clarks Green and was a 1968 graduate of Abington Heights High School. After attending Drew University and the University of Freiburg, Germany, she lived for a time in Vienna, Austria. From the mid-seventies until the early 21st century, she worked internationally as a flight attendant, beginning with MEA (Middle East Airlines) at which time she lived in Beirut, Lebanon. Because of a civil war that broke out in the early eighties, she was eventually forced to leave Lebanon. She then moved to Amman, Jordan, where she worked for ALIA (The Royal Jordanian Airline). She was one of the select few to be chosen by the late King Hussein, to work exclusively for the Royal family as a member of the Royal crew. After a few years, Linda returned to the States, where she secured a job in corporate aviation, and served notable passengers, including Ronald and Nancy Reagan and Rupert Murdoch. When she retired from the aviation business, she still wished to work, and began working for Wegmans, where she eventually earned the position of cooking coach. She worked there for almost 15 years until her untimely death, and was a valued and well-liked employee.

Linda is survived by a sister, Christine Little Ristl, Vienna, Austria; a brother, Richard P. Little and his wife Barbara, Dalton, PA; a niece, Rachel Little McLeod and her husband, Josh; their daughter, Leah McLeod, Lancaster, PA; and her companion, Bruce Burns of Clarks Green.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Church of the Epiphany, 25 Church Hill Road, Dalton, with services by the Rev. John W. Davis, deacon. There will be no calling hours and interment will be private.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 South State Street, Clarks Summit.
