Lloyd Pond

Lloyd Pond, 75, of Kingsley passed away Monday, June 2, 2025 at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton.

Born on March 12, 1950 in Lovelton, he is the son of the late Herbert and Leona (Wall) Pond.

Lloyd attended Tunkhannock High School. He took great pleasure in outdoor work, especially mowing the grass. His friends and family will remember him fondly for his love of the simple pleasures in life and his ability to find happiness in the great outdoors.

He also cherished the serene moments spent fishing and the exhilaration of riding his bike, activities that brought him peace and happiness.

He is survived by sister, Nina Pond; step-sisters, Mary Noble, Eddith Weble, Jessie Avery; step-brother, Howard Miller, Jr.; nieces, Nina and Tina Pond; nephews, Edgar, Ray, and Andrew Southworth; several other nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend Lloyd's graveside service which will be held on Monday, June 9, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Orcutt's Grove Cemetery, Noxen.
