Loretta Ann Kishbaugh, 78, of Tunkhannock, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025.
Loretta was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister and Aunt. She is survived by three daughters: Olga Snyder, Terri Kishbaugh and Betty Webber; and four sons: Lavern, Patrick (Leona), Randy Kishbaugh and Jerry Parry; two brothers: Russell and Elmer (Donna) Wood; three sisters: Patricia Dunbar (Paul), Gayle Flynn and Judy Mulligan; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sons: Herbert (Butch) Kishbaugh, Jr., Michael Kishbaugh and an infant son; her brother Walter Wood; and longtime companion William Carey.
Loretta was a longtime member of the Peckville Assembly of God Church. Before relocating to Tunkhannock, she was a longtime member of the Montdale Community, where she lived the majority of her life. She worked at Gress Poultry for many years as a chicken processor.
She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and extended family going to parks and having parties. Her hobbies included cooking, baking, watching and listening to the polkas. Loretta was truly a wonderful woman who took in many children as her own without question or judgement. She had a heart of gold and was always there to help anyone who needed it. She was loved by everyone who knew her and, if you had the opportunity to know her, you were blessed. She will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her.
Services will be held on March 20th, 2025 at the Peckville Assembly of God Church. Friends may call from 5 to 7 pm at Peckville Assembly of God Church with services starting at 7 pm. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit.
