Louis R. Pollini

Louis R. Pollini, 87, of Lake Winola, PA went quietly to his Lord on April 27, 2015. Born in Lindenhurst, NY he was the son of the late Louis C. and Pauline Lang Pollini. Louis was a long time resident of both Lindenhurst and Merrick, NY living on Long Island for the first 65 years of his life until moving to Lake Winola, PA in 1993. Louis, a devout and religious man, was an active member of both parishes Cure of Ars in Merrick, NY and St. Mary of the Lake in Lake Winola, PA. Louis was a dedicated and loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife of 65 plus years Marilyn (Spano) Pollini. He is also survived by his eight children : who he loved and guided throughout their years: Patricia Castagna, Pamela Lucas, Penni Novegrod, Peri Pollini, Pauline Davey, Louis Polline, Christopher Pollini, and Peggi Thomas.Louis’ legacy of survivors also includes 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for Louis on Friday, May 8th at 11 am at St. Mary of the Lake Church, 1872 Dalton Rd, Lake Winola, PA 18625, interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Dalton, PA. A gathering celebrating Louis’ life will be held from 7:00 – 9:00 pm on Thursday, May 7th at St. Mary of the Lake Church. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations in Louis’ name can be made to St. Mary of the Lake’s General Fund, PO Box 1, Lake Winola, PA 18625.
