It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lynn Marie Creamer, a beloved mother of five, who left this world peacefully on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the age of 77. She was preceded in death by Ronald Creamer, her husband of 53 years.
Lynn was born in Scranton, PA to the late Albert Sterling Davis II and Marion Phillips Davis. As a devoted mother and grandmother, Lynn dedicated her life to her family, instilling in them the values of kindness, creativity, and resilience.
An accomplished quilter, Lynn found joy in transforming fabric into art. Her quilts were not only beautiful, but also served as cherished gifts for family and friends, each stitch a reflection of her love. Her home was always filled with laughter, warmth, and the gentle hum of her sewing machine. She was an active member of the South Plains Presbyterian Church, where she served as an elder, sharing her talents and inspiring others with her creativity and generosity.
She is survived by daughter, Kendal Poleykett and her husband David; son, Devin and his wife Aimee; son Nathan and his partner Sally Kay; sons Nicholas and Derrick Creamer; grandchildren, Shelby, Jenna, Teagan, and Ainsley Poleykett, and Landon and Rebecca Creamer; a brother, Albert S. Davis III; four sisters, Sally Ludgate, Gail English, Holly Cavalieri, and Laura Balko; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her sister, the late Katherine Young died in 1992.
A public visitation will be held at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit, PA on Monday, October 7th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 8th at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Clarks Green Cemetery, Clarks Summit, PA. Additionally, a memorial service will be held at South Plains Presbyterian Church, 410 Black Cat Road, Keswick, VA on Friday, October 11th at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or at stjude.org/donate.
