Lynne Delano

Lynne L. Delano, 73, of Meshoppen passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania with family by her side. She is survived by her Loving husband of 54 years, George Delano.

Born on November 24, 1949, she is the daughter of the late Wilbur and Agnes Brummett Smith. Lynne graduated from Neshaminy High School and received an Associate's degree from Bucks County Community College. Lynne was a long-time resident of Bucks County, PA before retiring to enjoy the serenity of their farm house and property in Auburn Township, PA. Lynne spent over 20 years owning and operating the Apple Wagon Antique Mall with her husband after retiring from Bristol Myers Squibb. Lynne enjoyed spending time gardening, sewing, antiquing and spending time with her family and close friends. Above all else, Lynne enjoyed being a wife, a mom, and a mommom.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, George Delano Jr. and Wife Allison; Daughter, Sandra Carra and Husband Daniel; Granddaughter, Rebecca Carra and Wife Sara; Grandson Mitchell Delano; Great-grandson, Colton Carra.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Smith.

Family and friends are invited to attend Lynne's Funeral service which will be held on Saturday December 10, 2022 at 12:00pm from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA 18657.

A visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of the service.
