Madeline Anne Daniels, 23, of Tunkhannock passed away Friday, April 28, 2023 in South Carolina.
Born in Tunkhannock on August 10, 1999 she is the daughter of Baron and Rebecca White Daniels.
Madeline was always free-spirited and determined to live life on her terms. She cared about people and loved making them happy. Despite suffering from her debilitating disease, she never hesitated to help anyone with a need.
Madeline graduated from the Tunkhannock Area Homeschool program in 2017. She was a determined young woman who won the “Tough as Nails” award for her efforts as an athlete in track despite having medical issues.
After graduating from high school, Madeline pursued her passion for photography and videography of abandoned buildings as an Urban Explorer. Her focus was mainly on capturing abandoned churches, schools, and healthcare facilities across various locations.
Madeline had a caring and stubborn personality that never backed down from any challenge. She had strength and endurance even in troubled times. Nature, animals especially her dogs Lucy and Lizzy, and the beach were some of her favorite things that gave her peace.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by grandparents, Pam Dilmore and husband Nicholas, Mark White and wife Linda; aunts and uncles, Mary Bocchino and husband Michael, Charles Daniels and wife Elena, Wilma Fithian and husband Robert, Roger Daniels and wife Christine, Jennifer White, and Marcia Wilcox and husband Jody; cousins, Bobby Fithian and wife Julie, Annie Reynolds and husband Barrett, Lauren Blue and husband Adam, C.J. Daniels, Kathryn Daniels, Cheyenne White, Sheridan Wilcox.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Anne Daniels; cousin, Douglas Gross.
A special thank you to Madeline's close friends, Alexis, Corrine, and Molly for all of the care and love they have extended to her over the years.
Madeline will be forever remembered for her vibrant and compassionate spirit, her love for life, and her dedication to helping others.
Family and friends are invited to attend Madeline’s funeral service which will be held on Saturday May 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM from the Community Bible Church, 326 SR 92 S Tunkhannock, PA 18657 with Reverend David Stuckey presiding. Interment will be held privately in South Eaton Cemetery.
A viewing will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday.
