Margaret (Peg) Irene Biesecker

Margaret (Peg) Irene Biesecker, 81, of Clarks Summit, died peacefully on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. Born in Scranton, PA on January 15, 1943, she was a twin daughter of Carl and Eva Becker.

Peg graduated from Dunmore High School in 1960 and worked at the Globe Store in Scranton. She was then a dedicated mother and housewife before returning to the workforce at J.C. Penney, Grumman, and Price Chopper. Peg enjoyed baking, reading, crocheting, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Douglas Allan, in 2022.

Surviving are two sons: Gary, husband of Cindy, Dallas, PA and Bradley, Clarks Summit, PA.

She is also survived by her twin sister, Patricia Griffin, Moscow, PA; three grandchildren, Bryan, State College, PA, Christopher, Madison, WI, and Michael, Idaho Falls, ID; and several dear nieces and nephews.

The memorial event and interment will be private. Donations for breast cancer research may be made in Peg's memory.
