Marie Gabura

Marie Patricia Gabura, 83, of Tunkhannock passed away on Saturday November 19, 2022, at Regional Hospital of Scranton. She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years Emil Gabura in 1997.

Born in Plymouth on October 10, 1939 she is the daughter of the late Stanley and Celia Wisniewski Griscavage. She was a graduate of the Plymouth High School and worked in the banking industry for many years.

Marie enjoyed reading, quilting, and gardening. She loved the beach and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by son, Mark Gabura and his wife, Amy, of Clarks Summit; daughter, Natalie Sickler and her husband, Mark, of Tunkhannock; grandsons, Trevor and Ryan Gabura and Brett and Michael Sickler.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Albert Griscavage; sister, Dolores Meyer.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be next to her husband in St. Mary's Cemetery, Plymouth.
