Marie G. Muir

Marie G. Muir, 90, of Clarks Summit, died Friday at Abington Manor, South Abington Township.

Daughter of the late Anthony and Rose Capazo Gillette, she was a graduate of Dunmore High School. Prior to retirement, she was the office manager for Muir Podiatry and, earlier, she was the Executive Secretary at the Chamber of Commerce.

Surviving are her sons, Dr. Scott D. Muir, Sugarloaf, PA and Dr. Jeffrey W. Muir, Clarks Summit; four grandchildren, Tyler, Rachael, Austin and Mitchell Muir; and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday at 6 pm at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home from 4 pm until the time of the service.

Interment will be in Abington Hills Cemetery.
