Marie Anne Nallin of Fleetwood, Pennsylvania, died Monday afternoon at the Berks Heim Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the widow of John Nallin, who died in 2015.
Born in Sharon Springs, New York, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Alice Maring Button. Prior to retirement, she was a Registered Nurse.
Marie found great joy in creating beautiful gardens around her house. Often she could be found with a watering can in one hand and a spade in the other.
Surviving are three daughters, Diane Bilyk and her husband Joseph of Florida, Sue Porembo and her husband Joseph of Fleetwood, and Cheri Fill and her husband Tom of Massachusetts; a son, David Dygert and his wife Kelly of Mechanicsburg; two stepsons, Michael Nallin of California, and John Nallin Jr. of Throop; fourteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister Peggy Ullman of New York; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Mayer; a sister, Dorinne Edwards; and a brother, Richard Button.
The funeral will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 South State Street, Clarks Summit. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Abington Hills Cemetery.
