Marion Stott Schultz, 85, of Ransom Township, passed away on Tuesday morning at Allied Hospice, Scranton. She was preceded in death in 2017 by Ernest Schultz, her husband of over 56 years.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Josephine Evans Stott. Prior to her retirement, Marion was employed by Allied Services as a Home Health Aide. She was a member of Countryside Community Church.
Marion was a woman who valued her faith and family above all else. She was the driving force behind her children having a relationship with the Lord. She also loved flower gardening and enjoyed water aerobics several times a week with her girlfriends.
Surviving are three sons, David, Wes and his companion Keely, and Ernie and his wife Jennifer; son-in-law Patrick McGarry; honorary son-in-law George Marinchak; grandchildren Vanessa Walters, Cassy Rupert and husband Adam, Lacey Keefer and husband Brian, Emily Fathergill and husband Nick, John McGarry, and Bryce, Ashlyn, Quinton, Miles, and Titus Schultz; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved daughters, Jennifer Scott (2017) and Aimee McGarry (2021); brother Charles Stott; and sister Shirley Linderman.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 8th at 11 a.m. at the Countryside Community Church, 14011 Orchard Dr., Clarks Summit, with services by Rev. James Hollister. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Milwaukee Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Countryside Community Church at the above address.
