Marjorie Riker

Marjorie Ann Riker, 87, of Tunkhannock passed away March 15, 2023 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland R. Riker in 2011.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on October 8, 1935 she is the daughter of the late Gordon and Mable Montross Steele

She was a 1953 graduate of Tunkhannock High School and was a beautician for over 50 years retiring in 2009. Marjorie was a member of the Eaton Baptist Church and enjoyed spending her time caring for her flower beds.  

She is survived by sons, Leland G. and wife Karen of Tunkhannock, David and wife Jill of Eloy, AZ.; daughter, Patti Lou Riker and husband William Schuttee, III of Afton, Va.; three grandchildren, Crystal Meyers and husband Roger, Lee Ann and LuAnn Riker; two great granddaughters, Winter and Willa Meyers; sister, MaryLou Clark.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Benscoter; companion of many years, Gerald Brown.

Funeral services will be held at a later date.
