Merton G. Roberts

Merton G. Roberts 86, of Tunkhannock died Monday morning peacefully at his residence. He is survived by his wife Dorothy M. Rosengrant Roberts. He was born on August 29, 1927 in Tunkhannock, Pa, son of the late Leslie and Louise Wall Roberts. Merton was a United States Army veteran serving in WW II. He was preceded in death by sons Donald, Merton “Les”, and Walter J. several brothers and sisters. He is survived by daughters Marcia J. and husband Tom Hadsall, Mary E. and husband William Allen, and Sara A. Posten and Dale Brown, and Brother Clifford Robets, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private.
