Michael "Mickey" Zanghi

Michael "Mickey" Zanghi, 91, passed away the morning of Wednesday, 11/29/2023, after a brief illness.  He was preceded in death by his lifelong soulmate, wife Mary.

Born in Scranton, PA, he was the son of the late Philip and Mary Nash Zanghi.  He proudly served in the Korean War and prior to his retirement, worked at Anemostat.  Mickey was a prolific storyteller and a Philadelphia Eagles fan.  He enjoyed his waterfall/pond and the wildlife that visited him.  His greatest joys were time spent with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, all who idolized him.   He is survived by three children, Michael, Jackie (Billy), and Daria (Tom), six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.  Also surviving are brother Phillip (Patty) and sister Josephine.

Services will be private. Memorial donations in memory of Michael Zanghi may be made to Allied Services Foundation, 100 Abington Executive Park, Clarks Summit, PA 18411 in honor of the care he received at Allied Services Hospice Center.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit.
