Millard J. VanDerMark, 72, of Monroe Twp. passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at VA Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon VanDerMark in 2017.
Born in Newton, NJ on May 4, 1950. He is the son of the late Robert and Aili Korhonan VanDerMark.
He served his country in the United States Navy. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter, Jana VanDerMark; grandchildren, Olivia and Zachary Sawyer, Aili Diebold; brother, Robert VanDerMark.
Family and friends are invited to attend Millard's funeral service which will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 11:00am from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA 18657. Interment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock.
A viewing will be held from 10:00am until time of service on Saturday.
