Patricia A. Carr, 65, of Tunkhannock passed away Wednesday February 10, 2021 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center from complications from ALS. She is survived by her husband of almost 45 years, Paul E. Carr, Sr. They married May 22nd 1976. Born in Philadelphia on November 20, 1955 she is the daughter of the late Gerald C. and Margaret M. Dever Ryan. While raising two children and managing a house hold Patricia went back to school and received her associate's degree in nursing and became an RN from LCCC in 1994. She was a member of the Nativity B.V.M. Church, Tunkhannock. She worked as a registered nurse for 25 years at Allied Services skilled nursing & rehabilitation center. where she retired as a 3rd shift supervisor June of 2020. Patricia enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She was always supporting her favorite football team, the Philadelphia Eagles. Patricia enjoyed spending time with her family bowling, deep sea fishing and watching NASCAR. She will always be remembered for her great senses of humor and contagious laugh. Patricia was always there to give a helping handed when needed. In addition to her husband, she is survived by son, Paul Carr, Jr. and fiancé Basia Kosiara; daughter, Rebekah Henning and husband Stephen Henning, Jr..; sisters, Margaret Ryan and Catherine.; grandchildren, Lidia Ortiz, Stephen Henning III, Ryan Henning, and Lilly Henning. Celebration of life will be held at the family's convenience Arrangements and care entrusted to Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock, PA 18657.
