Patricia Deuel

Patricia Deuel was born in Scranton, PA on August 12, 1947. She attended Charles Sumner Grade School and West Scranton High School, where she graduated in 1965. After graduation, she stayed with her Aunt June in Syracuse, NY, and worked there at Mutual of New York. Later in life, she attended Cornell University.

She married Robert Deuel and had two children, Beth and Mark. She returned to Scranton in August of 1980 where she was employed at City Hall, then at St. Joseph's Center for almost twenty years.

She leaves behind two children, Mark and his wife Kelly Ann from Scranton and Beth; four grandsons: Richard and his partner Alexis, Landon, Tyler and his wife Alexandra, and David; a brother, Robert Harvey and his wife Rose; nieces and nephews: Bridgette, Brandy, Angela, Christopher and family, Andrew, Mary, and Lisa; several life-long close friends: Susan Ayers, Wayne Ayers, Roxann Williams and family, and Robert and Mary Kimball and family; and cousin Jim and Bonnie Coloumb and family, Bart and Eva Brown family, Renee Emanuel and Bill Teitsworth family.

She was a warm, generous, and giving person and a close friend. She will be surely missed by everyone who knew her and was close to her.

A funeral will be held on Thursday, January 15th at 11 am at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 South State Street, Clarks Summit, with services by Rev. TJ McCabe. Interment will follow at Milwaukee Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, January 14th from 4 pm to 6 pm at the funeral home.
