On May 21, 2023, Patricia Pahoski Holden passed away following an illness.

Patricia was born in Scranton on February 16, 1939. The daughter of John "Duke" and Harriet Gallagher, she graduated from Holy Rosary High School and attended Pennsylvania State University.

Active in the community, Patricia was a proud member of the Abington Heights Civic League and was an usher for the Scranton Cultural Center. She enjoyed traveling, going to movies, and crocheting.

Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved brother, John "Bruno" Gallagher; her first husband, Theodore Pahoski; and her companion, Cataldo Dellario. Patricia is survived by her husband, Bruce Holden, of Newton Ransom; her daughter, Dr. Tricia Richards-Service, and son-in-law Kevin Service of Clarks Summit; her son, Jonathon Pahoski, and daughter-in-law Mary Jo Pahoski of Dickson City; and her daughter, Lynn Koch (formerly Fedor), and son-in-law David Koch of Clarks Summit. Patricia loved her seven grandchildren: Nicholas Pahoski, Christopher Pahoski, Harrison Fedor, Jessica Pahoski, Conal Richards, Kathryn Richards, and Joshua Pahoski. She has one great-grandchild, Oliver Pahoski.

The family will attend a private burial on Friday. A celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday at Countryside Community Church, 14011 Orchard Drive Clarks Summit, PA 18411. Friends may call at 10 am. The service will begin at 11, followed immediately by a luncheon in the church community room.

The family would like to publicly thank the team at Allied Services Skilled Nursing Facility, especially the staff of 2 North, as well as the team at Allied Services Hospice. Your clinical excellence is only exceeded by the support, compassion, and kindness you showed to Patricia and our family when we needed it most. We will be eternally grateful.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Patricia's memory may be made to Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, 967 Griffin Pond Rd., South Abington Township, PA 18411.

Arrangements are being handled by Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
