Paul W. Smith

Paul W. Smith, 83, of Nicholson, died on April 27th at Abington Manor, South Abington Township. His wife of 35 years is Mary Lou Davinsizer Smith.

Born in Altoona, he was the son of the late George and Virginia Smith. He was a graduate of Altoona High School and attended Keystone Junior College. Paul also served in the United States Coast Guard. Prior to retirement, he was self-employed as a handyman.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, John Smith, of Indiana; daughters Lori Spath and Leslie Koch, both of Illinois; stepsons Gene White of Duluth, MN, Brian White of Tunkhannock, and Duane White of Clarks Summit; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a sister Linda Sadowski, of Pittsburgh.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Delores Civils.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit.
