Paula M. Zenger

Paula Custer Zenger passed away peacefully on February 5th surrounded by her loving family after a long fight with cancer. Born in Kingston on June 27, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Norma Becker Custer. Paula graduated from Tunkhannock High School class of 1965 and lived in Tunkhannock all her life. Prior to her retirement she worked as a hair dresser. Paula enjoyed traveling with her husband, Bob, and loved gardening and making pottery. For many years she kept a greenhouse where she raised a variety of plants. She loved spending time with her family and will be greatly missed by all. Paula is survived by her husband, Robert Zenger; three children, Donald Marabell and his wife Sylvia of Frisco, TX, Jason Marabell and his wife Wynne of East Stroudsburg; and Erin Marabell of Ithaca, NY. She will be greatly missed by her beloved grandchildren, Sadie, Paul, Jason, Brady, and Brynne; her sister Jean Shoemaker and husband William of Mehoopany; and brother Michael Custer and wife Cathy of Richland, WA. At her request, there will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held in June, the month of her birth. Arrangements entrusted to Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc., 73 W.
