Pearl Amacher

Pearl E. Amacher, 88, of Horseheads, NY formerly of Tunkhannock, PA passed away Friday, October 17, 2025, at Gutherie Corning Hospital. She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Frank E. Amacher in 2022.

Born on January 1, 1937, in Overfield Twp., PA, she is the daughter of the late Carl and Pearl (Howard) Morrison.

She was a graduate of Nicholson High School.

She is survived by daughter, Kathy Amacher of Elmira, NY; son, Frank Amacher, Jr. of Violet Springs, FL; brother, Dennis Morrison; sister, Dawn Guglielmi; grandchildren, Jessica (Brian) Kelly, Andrew Amacher; great granddaughter, Kennedy Kelly; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by brothers, Richard, Ronald, Sonny, and Raymond Morrison; sisters, Rosella Kita and Josephine Jurkowski.

Family and Friends are invited to attend Pearl's graveside service which will be held at 1:30 PM on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from Sunnyside Cemetery, 152 Sunnyside Rd., Tunkhannock, PA 18657.

A viewing will be held from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM on Thursday from the Marcho, Sheldon and Kukuchka Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 73 W Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA 18657.
