Phillip Joseph Kuna

Phillip Joseph Kuna, 47, of South Abington Township died at home on Sunday. His wife is Christina Harrison Kuna. The couple have been together since 2006 and married since April 2013.

Born in Abington, Pennsylvania, he was the son of John Girard Kuna and Jo Ellen Rosa Kuna. He was a graduate of Baptist Bible High School and Pittsburgh University BA, Marywood University MA, Catholic University of America PHD-ABD. He worked as a therapist and was the best father to his three children who were his pride and joy.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by son Dominic Phillip and daughters Stella Grace and Rosalie Rae Kuna, all at home; brother Jason and wife Collette of Danville; sister Beth Ziccardi of Peckville; nieces and nephews Megan Kuna, Stevie Benner, Chloe Benner, George Ziccardi, and Ethan Kuna.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am on Friday at Our Lady of the Snows Church, 301 South State Street, Clarks Summit. Interment will follow at Clarks Green Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 5 to 7 pm at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit.
