Ray Zack

Ray L. Zack, 84, of Lemon Township passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Elan Skilled Nursing and Rehab, Scranton. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Naomi A. (Eggleston) Zack.

Born on September 3, 1939 in Tunkhannock, he is the son of the late Louis and Henrietta (Weaver) Zack and the late Gertrude (Schriner) Zack.

He graduated from Tunkhannock High School in 1957. He then entered into the United States Navy. He was employed as a millwright for more than 50 years.

Ray was a member of the Triton Hose Company and a past supervisor of Lemon Township.

He enjoyed being with his family, hunting, fishing, and playing cards on Friday nights at Triton Hose Company. He also enjoyed going to Penn State football games.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Cathy Barber and husband Bob, Susan Curran and husband George, Jennie Zack, Sally Zack; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; many other loving family and friends.

There will be no funeral services as per his wishes.
