Robert Royal Fugate, Sr.

Robert Royal Fugate Sr., 74, of Clarks Summit passed on December 7 ^th , 2022, at the Wilkes-Barre VA.

Born in Patterson, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Alfred and Reba Sickler Fugate. He was a United States Air Force Vietnam Veteran and, prior to his retirement, he was a supervisor at Laminations Corporation.

Surviving is his brother Donald Fugate and wife Sherry of New Jersey, his significant other, Mariellen Lankowski of Clarks Summit, his son Robert Fugate Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Drums, son Donald Fugate of Illinois and daughter Erica Kenzakoski of Dallas. Six grandchildren: Robie, Ryan, Samantha, Donald II, Tabitha, and Gavin.

Bob was an avid fisherman, hunter, golfer, and poker player. He was known to enjoy a good cigar and a martini (extra dirty). In his younger years, Bob was talented in woodworking and gardening and lived for the days of the annual fishing derbies with his three children. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren and cherished being a grandfather.

A service will be held on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 South State Street, Clarks Summit, with services by Rev. Arbogaste Satoun, pastor. Friends and family may pay their respects at the funeral home from 5 pm until the time of the service.

Interment with full military honors will be held in Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery for family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to local VFW #7069 in Clarks Summit.
