Robert Paul Reese

Robert Paul Reese, 73, of Clarks Summit died on Sunday afternoon at The Gardens for Memory Care, Easton.

Born in Philadelphia and raised in Media, Pa., he was the son of the late Robert W. and Florence G. Reese. Prior to retirement, he was the Chief of Police in Newton Township and, later, a member of the Clarks Summit Police Department. He was also a member of LCBC Church, Fraternal Order of Police and the Clarks Summit Fire Department.
Robert loved serving his community and helping anyone in need. He is known for being the family Santa Claus as he enjoyed dressing up as Santa for his family and friends. He also loved watching his grandchildren play sports and was a huge Philadelphia sports fan.

He is survived by a son, Robert Reese, Jr. of Archbald; daughters Mandy Wilmot and husband Walter of Newton Township, Rebecca Cunningham and husband Mark of Conway, South Carolina; grandchildren Mallory Reese, Ty Wilmot, Isabelle Wilmot, Nathan Cunningham, Taryn Cunningham, Brienne Cunningham, Shannon Cunningham, and Mark Cunningham; a sister, Judy Federoff and her husband John of Avondale; and nieces and nephews

A funeral will be held on Sunday at 2 pm at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 South State Street, Clarks Summit. Friends may pay their respects from 12:30 pm until the time of the service. Interment will be held at a later date in Media, PA.
