Robert J. Skoronski

Robert John Skoronski, 70, of Vernon PA. passed away at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre on Sunday afternoon on October 6 2013. “Bob” was the son of the late Edward and Mary Skoronski. He was born in Wilkes-Barre on December 8, 1942. He was married to Marie Zuba on May 23, 1964. He lived in California for 12 years. His main interest was cars and early model Chevys. He enjoyed rebuilding engines, drag racing and listening to music from the 50s and 60s. For most of his life he worked as a mechanic for Pontiac and was also self-employed bringing his love of cars home with him to his own garage on many occasions. He is survived by his wife Marie, son William and wife Sheila Skoronski and daughter Debra and husband Joseph Sickler. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren Michael, Mitchell, Jacob and Samantha. Also surviving is Sister Betty and Louis SanLorenzo of Saratoga Springs, New York, Nephew Brian and niece Corinn. Funeral services will be private.
