Robert A. Takacs

Robert A. “Ratsy” Takacs of Nicholson died Monday August 25th due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident early in the day. He was born in Perth Amboy, NJ on August 22, 1974 son of Ronald and wife Carolyn Takacs of Lovelton and Donna Lee Lindh Ardito and Husband Jack of Georgetown, SC. Robert graduated from Tunkhannock High School in 1993. He was employed as a truck driver for several over the road trucking companies. Ratsy was extremely proud of his CDL license and he enjoyed working on the various trucks and engines that he drove. Some of his happiest times were spent with his sons riding their bikes on Dutch Mountain in Forkston. He was a friend to all who knew him. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Robert and Jane Takacs, Maternal grandmother Shirley Lindh. Surviving his is loving partner Lara Mosher, sons Robert Arthur Takacs Jr., Ronald Allen Takacs and step son Austin Aukema all at home. Maternal grandfather, Dorrance Lindh of Hemmingway SC. In- laws Sara and Philip Wood, Laceyville, and Lawrence Mosher, Meshoppen. A Celebration of Roberts life will be held at the family’s convenience. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Peoples Security Bank, 83 E. Tioga St., Tunkhannock “ In Memory of Robert Takacs”.
