Roberta "Becky" Allen

Roberta  "Becky" Allen, 79, of Nicholson passed away on Monday, January 5th, at Geisinger CMC in Scranton.

Born in Dumont, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Hamilton and Roberta Roberts Allen.  Prior to retirement, she was an insurance agent in Tunkhannock, PA.

Surviving is a son, Devin Allen, Tunkhannock; two daughters, Sara Wight and her husband, David Nygren, Litchfield, CT and Heather Wight of Easton, PA; two grandchildren, Nevaeh and Darrick Allen.

Becky treasured time with her children, grandchildren, and her cats. She found quiet joy watching the wildlife and birds outside of her window. She enjoyed playing BINGO with her friends, getting lost in a good book, and settling in for a movie. What she loved most were long, heart-to-heart conversations and the laughter that came with them. She was a proud Jersey Girl through and through.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements entrusted to the Lawrence E Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit.
