Roger Delraine Williams, "Dell" 73, of Springville passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Allied Hospice Center, Scranton. He is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Judy Williams, in 2021.
Born on August1, 1952 in Johnson City, NY, he is the son of Jean Williams and the late Roger Williams.
Dell was a 1970 graduate of Tunkhannock High School. He began his journey as a dairy farmer in Lymanville and later in Keiserville, where he found joy in fieldwork, often recalling how it was his favorite aspect of farming. In addition to his time as a farmer, Dell served as a CDL truck driver for Bob Kitner and Campos, and later pursued a career as an electrician with J&W Electric.
He embraced simple pleasures, finding joy in the outdoors through hunting and fishing, pastimes that brought him peace and happiness. Dell also held dear the moments spent with family, particularly cherished fishing trips and birthdays celebrated at Ricketts Glen. He was also a skilled chess player, known for defeating most of his opponents.
Dell often reminisced about the times shared with relatives, particularly fond of the gatherings with cousin's. His proudest accomplishments were the moments shared with his grandchildren and children, as he took immense joy in being a devoted father and grandfather.
