Roger Williams

Roger S. Williams, 92, of Meshoppen passed away Monday, July 7, 2025, at Endless Mountain Health Systems. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Jean (Hall) Williams.

Born on March 28, 1933, he is the son of the late Leon and Alice (Avery) Williams.

He attended Dimock High School. Roger devoted 76 years of his life to farming, beginning his career selling milk just three days after he turned 16. Over the decades, he built a legacy in the Lymanville and Keiserville area, where he became well-known and respected within the community for his tireless commitment to farming. His work was not just a job but a way of life that he embraced wholeheartedly.

Throughout his life, Roger treasured the moments spent with his wife and family. He was also a devoted supporter of the Osterhout Bible Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Dell Williams, Brian Williams and wife Karen; daughter Lori Kim Williams; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren as well as great-great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by daughter, Patricia (Tish) Jean Johnson; son, Terry S. Williams; siblings, Frank, Esther, and June.

Family and friends are invited to attend Roger's funeral services which will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 2:00 PM from the Marcho, Sheldon, and Kukuchka Funeral Home & Cremation Care, 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA 18657 with his son, Pastor Brian Williams presiding. Interment will be held in Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock.

A viewing will be held from 12:00 PM until the time of service on Thursday.
