Romayne Florence Fritsch

Romayne Florence Fritsch, of Mill City, passed away peacefully Friday afternoon, March 14, 2025,  at her home.

Born in Scranton on November 18, 1950, she moved to Mill City when she was 14 years old. There she met the love of her life, William "Bill" W. Fritsch. For 59 beautiful years, she shared an inseparable bond with her beloved husband.

Romayne was a proud and loving mother of 3 children and cherished all her grandchildren. The joy of her life was raising her children.  She enjoyed decorating her home and shopping with her daughter Missy. She was the rock of her family and will be severely missed.

Along with her husband Bill, she is survived by her children, Lisa and her husband, Brian Franko, Mill City; Bill and his wife, Cara, Wyoming; and Missy, Mill City; her grandchildren, Alissa and her husband, Paul Whelski; Mark, Mason, Tyler, Kaleigh, Aaron, and Alyssa; and a great granddaughter, Charleigh.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home.
