Rosa Anna Schaefer

Rosa Anna Schaefer of Tunkhannock died at the home of her caregiver and daughter Esther Chellis on Friday February 17, 2017. She was born in the Czech Republic on October 17, 1922. Rosa and her late husband Karl Schaefer where the owners of RK furs from 1968 until their retirement in 1996. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother and very godly person who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her daughter she is survived by sons and spouse’s Karl/Chris of Chilliwack, Canada, Herman/Pam of Matamoras, Pa. and David/Polly of Monroe Twp, Pa., 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A memorial service and interment of cremated remains will be held in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Hanover twp., at a later date.
